jSa was established in 1997 by licensed architect, Jonathan Splitt.  The firm's work encompasses projects that include custom residential, hospitality as well as mixed-use high rise structures. We foster a flexible approach to meeting the client's goals coupled with a consistent focus on the structure's design, form and purpose.   We are affiliated with both the local and national chapters of The American Institute of Architects (AIA) as well as have earned recognition from several important groups including the AIA, the Illinois Indiana Masonry Institute in addition to the Norwood Park Historical Society.  We have extensive experience with the City of Chicago Department of Zoning, The Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD), The Department of Housing, The Lakefront Protection Ordinance and with The Department of Planning.
